Bio: Dr. Ashish Kundu is currently at Cisco Research as its Head of Cybersecurity Research. Ashish’s research has focused on security, privacy and compliance. His current research interests are primarily on quantum-resistant security, and AI of/for security. He received his Ph.D from Purdue University in 2010, following which, he worked at IBM T J Watson Research Center as Research Staff Member, and has been honored with the prestigious Master Inventor recognition multiple times by IBM Research. He has led security, privacy and compliance of self-driving cars, cloud platforms for healthcare, education based on AI/ML. His research work has led to about 200 patents filed with 160+ granted, and more than 85 publications. He is an ACM Distinguished Member, and IEEE Fellow.
