DescriptionModern computing systems face growing threats from microarchitectural and physical attacks, address these attacks are critical areas of research. This hardware security session showcases novel research on emerging threats and defense mechanisms. The selected papers present state-of-the-art security research on microarchitectural vulnerabilities, including those exploiting timing and speculation, advancements in power side-channel analysis, and security studies on physically unclonable functions (PUFs) and logic locking.
