SUMMARY:Keeping the Guard Up with Security across the Board
DESCRIPTION:Sabya Das (Synopsys); Ankur Srivastava (University of Maryland
, College Park); Lee Lerner (Georgia Institute of Technology); Siddharth G
arg (New York University); and Ashish Kundu (Cisco)\n\nIn today's fully co
nnected world, attacks on computing and non-computing connected systems ar
e becoming increasingly common. Often, those attacks severely impact the v
ictims. To address such problems, the research community is aggressively w
orking on various aspects of security. In the first talk of the session, t
he speaker will discuss utilizing the 3D heterogeneous integration technol
ogy to address the semiconductor supply-chain security issues. The second
talk will be about the problems and solutions in the context of enhanced a
ssurance for the FPGA-centric EDA tools. The third presenter will discuss
the challenges for adopting the Quantum resistant cryptography in the hard
ware level. In the fourth topic, the speaker will discuss about secure Dee
p-Learning based EDA flows, because ML-assisted EDA tools are also suscept
 ible to the security issues.\n\nTopics: Back-End Design\n\n
