 hardware is aspiring to a similar stature of dependability and reliability
  in the industry.  Over the past years, the chip design industry has witne
 ssed the growth of open source and collaborative efforts across the entire
  spectrum of hardware development.  The community of open hardware compris
 es several key ingredients necessary to design and build a chip, and those
  ingredients are served to a chip designer via a design environment. \n\nT
 hese include:\n\n-hardware instruction sets such as RISC-V, OpenPower\n-Pr
 ocess Design Kits (PDKs) representing the manufacturing ingredients to des
 ign a chip \n-Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software used for the con
 struction, functional, electrical, and design verification of the design \
 n-Cloud based design enablement platform \n-Collaborative design of SoC co
 mponents using a mix of new and off the shelf open source IP\n\nThis sessi
